SocRob is giving its first steps into the Simulation League. Our team aims to gather knowledge from different areas such as multi-agent modeling, learning, logic and reasoning. Its architecture is inspired by research in psychology, namely personality, and emotions.
Besides building a team of soccer playing agents, we are also developing a Coach (for opponent modeling) and a 3D application for visualizing and debugging the games of the RoboCup Simulation League. This monitor was implemented using OpenGL and provides a true 3D soccer game experience maintaining a healthy balance of realistic animation features and high-speed rendering.
Our "RoboCup Advanced 3D Monitor" is available for download for MacOS X and Linux.
The MacOS X version was built on MacOS X 10.2 with gcc 3.1. It was never tested on MacOS X 10.1. Just click on the link and you'll end up with the application on your desktop.
The Linux version was built on a SuSE 7.1 system with gcc 3.2. You must have gcc 3.2 in order to build the final executable file (the linux version is already compiled but not linked).
