In RoboCup 98, held in Paris, France - July 1-10, 1998, besides lots of scientific learning, we qualified to the quarter-finals (8 from the initial 16 teams). We were defeated by the University of Tuebingen team, one of the finalists, after a 0-0 tie, 0-0 in the penalties shootout and a skill evaluation challenge.

The ISocRob human team, together with our friend Manuela Veloso, a professor at the CS Department of CMU and one of RoboCup organizers. Her team (CMUnited) won the small-size league for the second year in a row.
